Welcome to Lviv
The UCU Summer Schools are an Academic Center for learning in an International context and a forum for fostering intercultural understanding and spiritual growth.
Purpose: To enable intense study in a relatively relaxed environment and to encourage growth in personal faith by providing a spiritual experience. The summer programs cover a variety of fields, including both modern and classical languages, as well as themes closely related to UCU's mission, theology, art, and leadership.
Every summer from late May to early August, UCU welcomes some 400 students from all over the world to its wide variety of courses, mostly within the liberal arts and social sciences.
UCU Seeks Volunteers for Summer Schools
The Ukrainian Catholic University is seeking volunteers for its English and German Summer Schools 2009 in Ukraine. The month-long program offers a chance to live with Ukrainian college students, experience Eastern Christianity, and learn about the new challenges facing this ancient country.
The Ukrainian Catholic University offers two comfortable and extremely well-located guest houses in Lviv, only a few score steps away from city center. It is also close to the main University buildings.
